Now a quick explanation of how the Desktop is set out as this will simplify your day to day use of Meridian.

1. Along the top is the Menu Bar beginning at File

Each has a drop down menu accessed by clicking on the Menu name.

2. Under the Menu Bar are the Toolbar Buttons that can be used as short cuts

Like most software packages the Toolbar buttons are a shortcut way of doing the most common Menu commands.

3. The Patients window (found in the top left hand side of the screen) has folders relating to patient charts and results

For an explanation of each folder in this window go to Review Results.

4. Under this the Available Results window lists documents held in patient charts

5. When a document is requested it is shown in the Main Window on the right of screen

All icons and commands within this window relate directly to the result currently being displayed (eg. Cumulative Results, Park This Result, etc.).

Meridian integrates with Microsoft Word so you can use a familiar word processing system.

Note: Unlike other software you may have used;

All Practitioners whether Doctors, Physiotherapists, Dietitians or others are referred to as Providers
