Generating an Excel spreadsheet of providers in your area

NOTE: Requires Internet Explorer 9 and Microsoft Excel

Navigate to http://ph.med.net.au

Choose Postcode

Enter your list of postcodes and select search. (You can generate a range of postcodes using the following utility, which you can then paste into the search box) http://download.medical-objects.com.au/postcodesgenerator.exe

To generate a file you can load into Excel choose the "Download XML" button.

Select to cog in the top right of the screen --> File --> Save as.

Choose where to save your GetProviderSearchByName.xml

Next load Microsoft Excel

File --> Open

Make sure "All Excel Files" is chosen in the bottom right drop down. Navigate to your file and load it.

On the next screen choose "As an XML table"

Click on OK on the next screen.

File --> Save As (Save as type *.xlsx)

You can now edit the file and it will stay in Excel format.
