IKEY Installer Error Solution
Solution - Method 1 of 2
You may notice when installing the latest Ikey drivers on an XP machine running SP3 that you get the following error
There is an MSI installer on the SafeNet website which overcomes this problem, this can be found on the following link
http://www.safenet-inc.com/support/tech/ikey.asp
NOTE: Click on the top link which is the *.msi installer rather than the *.exe installer.
The Ikey drivers should now be installed.
Solution - Method 2 of 2

This error message is very misleading because essentially there is actually an error with a corrupt version of the InstallShield application on the local machine. InstallShield is a small program installed on the local machine to basically supervise and control the installation of other applications.
For Example: The iKey driver installation first sets up InstallShield which then controls the rest of the iKey driver and application installation.
Now to fix the problem!
1. Either delete or rename the directory that the InstallShield application runs
Note: The default location is stated below.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional\RunTime\
2. In the RunTime directory you will see one or a couple of the following folders: 9; 10; 11.
These folders are the running directories for each version of InstallShield.
3. Delete these folders
4. Run the iKey driver installation, this will re-install the InstallShield application completing the rest of the iKey driver setup
