New Document

Description : Create a new document that is not attached to the patient that is being currently viewed. The form that is opened allows you to link the new document to a current or new patient and to send the new document to other provider(s).

Capture Document From Clipboard

Description : A quick and easy way to import selected test data from another program into meridian. Just select and copy data from the target program then press this item. The import form that is opened allows you to link the document to a current or new patient and to send the document to other provider(s).

Description : a quick and easy way to create a response message to the current document. Only available when you have a document open in the eplorer section of meridian

Import Document

Description : import a document file from word processor like word into Meridian. Works best with *.doc or *.rtf files. The import form that is opened allows you to link the document to a current or new patient and to send the document to other provider(s).

Capsule Endoscopy Report

Description : Imports a report produced by a capsule endoscopy program like PillCam. The import form that is opened allows you to link the report to a current or new patient and to send the report to other provider(s)

Description : Loads and displays a HL7 or PIT file. HL7 files may contain data of more than one patients.

Print

Description : Prints the current displayed document via the windows printer setup. Will use the default printer or the printer defined in 'Printer Setup' but you may change the printer and or the printer settings before printing

Description : Lets you setup Meridians default printer and its properties (paper size, oreintation etc)

Print Preview

Description : Produces an onscreen view of how the current document will look.

Print Multiple Results

Description : Allows you to print multiple results for the current patient. You can select witch results to print. eg if the patient has had a number of consultations then you can print all of them or a selection.

Format Print

Description : If the current document has an alternative view then you can tell Meridian to print that view. Only availible if current document has an alternative view and Meridian is currently displaying that alternative view.

Description : Save the current document as a PDF file. PDF is a commom format that does not allow editing and is useful for sending data to other providers who do not have Meridian

Pathology Print

Remote Assistance

Description : Opens up the dialog that initiates a remote assistance session. Meridian will automatically got into remote mode. Meridian cannot detect when remote assistance is on so will stay in remote mode until the mode is toggled off or Meridian closes.

Remote Mode

Description : Toggles remote mode on or off. When in remote mode decorative bitmaps are turned off to reduce traffic to the remote assistant. Toggling back to off is delayed for 5 seconds to give assistant time to log off
