QBCountExisting

From Medical-Objects Documentation Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

This utility could install to M:\medicalobjects\local tests\QuickBooksXmo\QBCountExisting.exe or any other path.

The QODBC driver must have already been installed. (See: How_to_setup_export_to_QuickBooks#QODBC_Driver)

This utility only selects counts of customers, and checks the DOB to make sure it is a valid d/m/y entry. It does not reveal any private information.

No other configuration or setup is needed; just run QBCountExisting.exe on the same computer that has QODBC installed.

It should look like this when it first opens:

SnapQBCountExistingStart.png

Click the button and wait for results.

To test the utility, use the scenario #4 test file (public data from QuickBooks, with some adjustments).
