Medical-Objects Capricorn 2633 Release Notes

         New Features in 2633

· Added "Generate debug report" button on log window

· Added "Window to stay on top" button on log window (This will keep the log window on top of all other running windows, like windows task manager)

· Added clear current log window (useful if you want no old on screen log info)

· Added Demographic source and Satellite EHR configuration areas for Satellite integration with Trinity Plus

· Added a Please wait message to Capricorn on screen log when you shut it down

        What’s Improved In 2633 (Bugs fixed and improved features)

· Delete button on Delivery report works

· Forms in server properties are now visible in all Operating systems

· Win 2008 server service output to .pdf works when service running as other user than local system

· Fully integrated UAC control (When installing and un-installing the service on Windows XP you must un-tick the protect my computer box)

· On Screen Log now appears on low res screens (If you drag the Capricorn log window off screen right, or bottom then close the log window then next time it opens it puts it back on screen). If Capricorn on screen log window is moved off screen in any direction, when you restart Capricorn it will move the log screen back on screen.

· You can now change the auto upgrade time frame by typing in numbers as well as using the arrow keys

· Server parameters no longer requires username and password to login

· Capricorn Web Interface (CWI) entering a path in configuration / diagnostic imaging now gets saved in the Capricorn Configuration

· Improved Compatibility with Windows 7 and Windows 2008 / 2008 R2

· Removed "Add PIT display segments" from modifiers that do not require it.

         Things to keep in mind with this version of Capricorn (Bugs and known issues)

· In Integration options when you create a new message modifier and add the sub components, Expand PIT Display to Full PIT Lines" is missing.

· After Message Source Exceptions were tested with the Practix modifier, the modifier was changed to another modifier and the results still went to the MSE output directory. However they did not get processed with MSE name replacement. When the MSE rule was deleted from Capricorn the results started saving to the correct location without Capricorn having to be restarted. However, if the MSE rule is not deleted the Capricorn does not save to the default output directory with any other modifier, even when the Cap has been restarted.

· If some reports are sent but go into the intransit directory and the receiving Capricorn's name / pgp key gets changed the results never leave the senders Capricorn because it's trying to use the old routing record.

· Capricorn service issue (win 2008 / win 7). - The Capricorn service can not save as .pdf if the logged on user is set as local system (it saves an empty .pdf file). It gives the error. "EPrinter:There is no default printer currently selected"

· Capricorn Message generation access violations. - On occation, Acks and reports that have been generated to send, have gone into error due to access Violations.

· Router outgoing error display issue. - There may only be one error .hl7 file in the error directory and only one .txt file in the error directory that is associated with that .hl7 file. However multiple .txt messages are seen on the delivery report, where there should only be one.

· If you have used RSD (RSD ticked) then change from an MD modifier to another it grays out. Then if you change back to MD modifier it is still grayed out.

· Capricorn Web Interface Provider lookup

• Searching by Postcode and name work in Opera 10.51, Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.
• You can search by name in IE but when you select a Dr it just gives an undefined message.
• Searching by postcode in IE does not work at all.
• Searching by Provider number does not work at all in any browser.

· Report Scanning

• If you set "Images Only" and the output to .jpg the links to the image does not get shortened if the "Use short URL's for links" tick box is ticked in integration options
• Images only will not save as mos. Only .pdf and jpg. If you select .mos it saves as .pdf instead
• Report scanning does not work with Tunneled messages

Please Note:

· Windows Capricorn version 2633 runs the same as all previous versions of Capricorn. Integration between all practice management software and Medical-Objects sending software remains the same.

· Windows Capricorn version 2633 is a minor Release ONLY, the next major release will come in the future.
