Toolbars

Clicking on any Toolbar button provides shortcuts to some of the most common Meridian functions.

Here is an explanation of each Toolbar button:

- If you are not logged on the first button will look like this. Click on it to Log On to Meridian.

- If you are logged on then this button will log you out of Meridian and change the button to the one previously described.

- Allows you to Lookup a Patient.

- Allows you to Load a Message file.

- Clear the Viewer of any currently displayed results and return it to the blue Medical Objects screen. A great way to protect the privacy of the information you are looking at.

- Searches for new results.

- View the previous page. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Alt + Left Arrow.

- View the next or subsequent page. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Alt + Right Arrow.

- Navigate to the next result. You can also do this by pressing the space bar.

- Stop Data Transfer, of course this only works when you are actually sending or receiving information.

- Create a Simple Text Message.

- Capture a document from the Clipboard.

- Import a Document file.

- Lookup a Provider.

- Create an Pathology or X-ray Order.

- MIMS Lookup.

- Check for new reports for editing - will show any reports that haven't been sent that are awaiting editing/approval

- This button will only be active when you are viewing a patient. It allows you to add a Progress Note on the currently viewed patient.
